Assalammualaikum ~! Bertemu lagi kita and hari ni aku
teruskan dengan kelas kitchen ha cuti tinggal seminggu. Ada 12 topik semuanya
harap harap sempatlah aku ceghita sampai ke sudah. Jadi kita teruskan dengan
topik salad. Salad is actually a really fun very simple and healthy food. Maybe
some of you fikir makan salad like kambing makan rumput kan? Tapi sebenarnya
there’s many types of salad. Not just that leafy green stuff. And dulu pun aku
suka buat salad but for me, I just bukak fridge tengok apa ada and just
combine. But today! I want to share a few recipe of salad yohoo ~~
Sooo, salad. What is the definition of salad? It has always
been a challenge to try and define the term salad. Basically, a salad is a
mixture of raw and/or cooked ingredients served with a dressing or sauce. So
dalam salad ada 2 basic dressing. Mayonnaise - Permanent emulsion & Oil and
vinegar dressing (vinaigrette) – Temporary emulsion.
Mayonnaise ->
sebiji egg yolk + secawan minyak + lemon juice + mustard + salt, sugar +
pepper.
Ha Nampak cam sonang je an. Egg yolk tu whiskkan saat minyak tu kena kat dia.
Ha yang payohnya hang whisk la dalam 3 – 5 minit TANPA HENTI pada KADAR
KELAJUAN YANG SAMA! Mau tercabut tangan masa first time buat. But practice makes
perfect ~!
Vinaigrette ->
vinegar (1) : (3) oil {olive / corn} season a with salt and pepper and then
add chopped onion and garlic

Base (Biasanya lettuce) §
Body (Main Salad) §
Garnish (Chopped bacon / parsley) §
Dressing (Mayo/vinaigrette)

Waldorf salad §
Coleslaw §
Chef’s salad §Caesar
salad § Nicoise salad § Fresh Fruit Chantilly
Potato salad ->
Peel boiled potato and diced + Chopped parsley + Mayo.
Waldorf salad ->
Green & red apple diced + Celery + Chantily (one of anak mayo which is equal
part of cream and mayo) + Walnut.
Coleslaw an
example of accompaniment salad which means sesuai dimakan dengan something else-> Cabbage & carrot soaked with
vinaigrette + salt ( garam + vinegar akan keluar air) + Mayo.
Chef's Salad ->
Green salad + Carrot + Capsicum + Chicken + Cheddar cheese + Vinaigrette.
Caesar Salad ->
Anchovies fillet hancurkan +Chopped garlic + Mayo + Roamn lettuce + Parmesan
cheese + Bacon + Crouton.
Nicoise Salad sebut
dia ‘nisua’ -> Green bean + Hard
boiled egg + Tomato + Potato + Olive + Mixed green salad + Tuna + Anchovies
fillet + Vinaigrette.
Fresh Fruit Salad
-> Apple + Melon+ Grape + Strawberry + Banana + Chantily (used for fruits)
Yang bestnya salad ni bukan sahaja menyihatkan malah sangat colourful dan menarik untuk dimakan. To be honest, topik ni la topik favourite aku <3 Till we meet again ~!
